Privacy, notices & accessibility

Your information, handled carefully.

How this website treats your information, where to find our privacy practices, and how to reach us about language access or accessibility.

Website privacy

This website does not collect health information and does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The contact page does not submit data to a server: it opens a pre-written email in your own email app, which you choose whether to send.

Email is not a secure way to share medical information. Please call us instead of emailing symptoms, results or other health details.

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the contact page shows maps from Google Maps. When your browser loads these, Google may receive your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy.

Notice of Privacy Practices

Our practice maintains a Notice of Privacy Practices that describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to it. Printed copies are available at both offices, and we will send you a copy on request: call (703) 437-3850.

Nondiscrimination and language assistance

Virginia Medical Arts Clinic complies with applicable federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability or sex. We do not exclude people or treat them differently because of these characteristics.

We provide free aids and services to people with disabilities so they can communicate with us effectively, and free language services, including qualified interpreters, to people whose primary language is not English. To request them, call (703) 437-3850 and ask for the Practice Manager.

If you believe we have failed to provide these services or discriminated in another way, you can file a grievance with the Practice Manager at the same number. You can also file a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, at ocrportal.hhs.gov, or by phone at 1-800-368-1019 (TDD 1-800-537-7697).

Accessibility

We want this website to work for everyone, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If any part of the site is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, call (703) 437-3850 or email RajeevKhanna@ayorahealth.com, and we will provide the information another way and fix the problem.

Medical information and terms of use

Content on this site is general information. It is not medical advice and does not create a physician-patient relationship. In an emergency, call 911.

Test names are listed to describe services we may order. Some tests are optional and have limited or emerging evidence; these are marked on the Wellness & Longevity page and discussed with you before ordering.
